JWP Kingdom of the Sky 2025 – Fundraising Expedition Summary

From 20th April to 1st May 2025, we undertook an unforgettable 12-day expedition through South Africa and Lesotho as part of Journeys with Purpose: Kingdom of the Sky. With just four crew members, we set out not only to witness the raw beauty of the Drakensberg and Maluti mountains, but also to make a tangible impact for conservation. And thanks to our generous corporate partners (Onelogix and Synvita) and supporters, we raised a total of R72,500 in support of critical wildlife projects.

Funds Raised:

• Wildlife ACT (Onelogix): R35,000
• Bearded Vulture Project (Onelogix): R20,000
• Remmie and Kelly (Crew support): R10,000
• Bearded Vulture Breeding Project (Synvita donation): R7,500
• Total: R72,500

This journey was more than just a physical route—it was a path of connection, inspiration, and impact. From early morning mountain hikes to the cliffs of the Bearded Vulture, to long nights under star-filled Kalahari skies, every moment was infused with purpose. We engaged with conservationists on the front lines, supported vital species protection work, and inspired young learners to fall in love with the wild world around them.
