Today, we honor World Rhino Day and the efforts of every single individual in every capacity that has contributed to the protection of this critically endangered species. 🦏

At Blue Sky Society, We are passionate about collaborations that directly and positively impact the protection of these animals.

The plight of our Rhinos is a story covered in blood and suffering for these animals, and today, we ask YOU to join us in the fight to protect them.

It’s been 5 whole years since we set off on our Rise of The Matriarch Expedition!

This was truly a one of a one-of-a-kind expedition with just 4 of us ladies kicking off the first leg of the trip from Johannesburg. That was just the start of many kilometers traveled, an unfathomable amount of laughter, new experiences meeting conservation organisations along the way, and many a night around the fire sharing heart stories with a group of extraordinary women!

Deeply grateful for the memories that we made, and most of all, the friendships that were forged along the way!

Last year on our #RiseOfTheMatriarch Expedition, our crew raised funds that helped with the donation of a scale to the @africanpangolinconservation.

We got this cute little photo of our scale in use. Kajima the Pangolin is being weighed, and we wanted to see if you could guess how much he weighs!

7 Years Strong! 💙

It’s been 7 years since we departed on our Elephant Ignite Expedition from Sibaya in KZN, South Africa, and since that day, many a memory has been made, friendships fostered, stories shared, lives touched and forever changed.

This was the beginning of something magical!

Over 15,787 kilometers, crossing 10 countries, we paved the way for a beautiful sisterhood to come together.

Since this day, We have traveled many more dirt roads and helped a number of organisations along the way and our sisterhood has continued to grow from across the globe.

So, there could not be a more perfect day, to say HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY to our fellow sisters of the wild!

May courage, hope, and love guide you in the pursuit of what sets your heart on fire, and no matter what, ‘Don’t stop believing!’. 🐘
